This page is a good follow-up to Eddie: At the Top

If you haven’t seen that page I’ll give you a quick rundown of the story of me and Eddie Furth: we were childhood friends in Stamford, CT and though we attending different high schools we were able to stay connect through mutual friends and Facebook. We came to learn that we were both moving to Los Angeles within the same week of each other in November of 2013. We were able to reunite and strike up some fun in Los Angeles.

On this particular day, Eddie and I had both realized that neither of us had ever seen the infamous La Brea TarPits, so we hoped on over to Wilshire Blvd to check them out. It was enjoyable, but we made more of the day by hanging around the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and taking in a few of the outdoor exhibits. Naturally, I brought my camera along and capture some of Eddie’s antics. We also had the esteemed pleasure of meeting Charlie, the resident musician at the Tar Pits. He played a few tunes for us and then he knocked our socks off with the “Tar Pits Waltz.” If you’re ever in LA, stop by and see him, and he’ll happily play it for you:

The "spaghetti straw" exhibit was outside of the entrance to LACMA. It is a piece named “Penetrable,” by the artist, Jesus Rafael Soto. For fun, I decided to include a short silent video of what it felt like to be inside:
