My friend, Roshni, was very excited to find out that I started doing photographing as a hobby and new profession. She reached out to see if I’d be willing to photograph her. She is a big fan of fashion as she frequents New York City often to see the latest shows/trends.
I met up with her one day outside of her parents’ house for an impromptu and informal portrait session. It was cool that she was willing to put on her sari. I liked the line of it, and as you'll see I used mostly a portrait orientation when photographing her.
We didn't have a plan. We just took advantage of the natural light and I let her hop and frolic on rocks and around trees. I wish we had more time to photograph together on this day, because we were starting to get into a good creative rhythm:
