Perfect View

After a really great day of exploring Washington State with my Tennessee friends, Monica and Will, we drove back into Seattle just in time to catch sunset before heading to dinner. We stopped along Harbor Drive at Seacrest Park Cove, and an awesome view of the Seattle skyline could be seen across Elliott Bay. I had visited Seattle in 2016 and it seems like Monica might have been keeping this spot in her back pocket for another visit, this one I guess.

At first you’ll see a handful of shots from along I-90 as we arrived into the city. Fortuitously, Mt. Rainer was in view. Afterward are all the images from our vantage point at Seacrest Park. There are a few repeats or similar shots, and as always, I like to play with different color temperatures in post. It seems like the view from Harbor Drive was made for panorama shots. It felt like an architectural drawing, a true elevation view of the Seattle skyline. Remarkable.
