A Ghost Town

A “Stay at Home” order in mid-March. Protesting in June. 2020. Exhale.

I admit that the events of this year have left me morose. I have not had a full fire to go out and photograph some of the LA happenings as they relate either to the pandemic or the protesting of racial injustice. (I do have fire for this though: The Black Portraits) Los Angeles has had many moments worth capturing. I will share with you the very little bit I have captured.

You’ll see some masks, and mostly you’ll see a recurring idea/image that has been the most shocking: empty streets. Los Angeles has been a ghost town at times and it’s eerie. The bustle of traffic disappeared from time to time. Weird:
